Day 365: The Foundationary Finale
4419 actuations. 4281 files. 22.8 GB. 3 states. 2 islands. 365 days.
This is the final post of my 365 project for 2013. Whether you were with me from the very beginning 2 years ago or just recently joined in, I sincerely thank you for joining me on this journey.
I challenge each and every one of you to do a 365 project at least once in your life. This was my second time around and it was even more fun than the last. As always, I’ve learned a lot—both with regards to photography and also about myself. Some days are better than others, but that’s life. It isn’t and shouldn’t always be exciting and extravagant.
Time flies, but these images remain forever.
Thank you again. See you around.

Day 364: The Switched Stipulation
Tried looking for Paddleboard Pizza in Halawa. Apparently doesn’t exist anymore. Damn Yelp fail. However, there’s a Honolulu Pizza in the place where it was before. Helped by a nice older gentleman, who I assumed was the owner. A bit pricey, but it was surprisingly really good and healthy-ish sounding.
Last Madhouse Monday of 2013.

Day 361: The Reunion Resilience
Reunited once again with the elusive Kelsey Kam. Lunch at Monkeypod again. Damn those pumpkin raviolis are good. Thanks for lunch!
Dinner at The Pig and the Lady. Not bad at all. Except the Pomegranate Shrub. ‘Twas like drinking vinegar-flavored soda. And the lighting. Wasn’t very conducive to good picture taking. Pho tsukemen was good. Pork belly & mushroom rice bowl was even better.

Day 360: The Rivertown Recapitulation
The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug today again. May have just been tired from the Wolf early this morning but almost fell asleep several times. Sigh. Still good, though.

Day 359: The Pottermas Pageantry
Decorated cookies for the first time. Also, so thankful I can retire Anakin now. Now currently taking applications on the name for Anakin’s successor. Awesome lunch.
Dinner at mother’s awesome family time as well. HP bless the holidays. Uncle, hope you’re okay.
Post-dinner festivities with… The Wolf of Wall Street: B-Longest. Movie. Ever. I’d give it an A-, but it seemed like Scorsese went a little overboard or all of the editors were as high on quaaludes as Leonard DiCaprio’s character. Funny, driven plot, but good lord there were so many scenes that could have either been left on the cutting room floor or shaved down. I caught myself checking the time several times just to see if it was almost over.

Day 358: The Hustle Hubris
Pay no mind that this picture may bear a striking resemblance to other days. Post-Tuesday movie Zippy’s has become a routine.
American Hustle: Solid A-Not bad. Not bad at all. It has all the good elements from other key films. I’d say it’s like an amalgamation of Ocean’s 11 mixed with a little…idk some kind of iconic 70’s movie. A really, really slow start. A bit drawn out at points. But, hell, JLaw and Christian Bale were phenomenal. Can’t stress that enough. SCIENCE OVEN!

Had a delicious post-lights Shokudo happy hour dinner as well. Good times.
